- 19 October 2008: Cognatio 1.4.0 released. Five new reports, including fan charts, timelines and statistics with charts. Several minor improvements and fixes.
- 5 May 2008: Cognatio 1.3.2 released. Bug-fix release.
- 16 March 2008: The Ged2XML 2.0 schema has been updated. Some schema validators did not accepted the schema as valid, although it was accepted my most validators. This fix eliminates the issue while being 100% compatible with the previous version of the schema.
- 16 December 2007: Cognatio 1.3.1 released. Bug-fix release.
- 8 December 2007: Cognatio 1.3.0 released. New date calculator and calendar reports. New ancestor report and surname report. Breakpoints supported in the report type editor. Several other improvements. Some bug-fixes.
- 7 December 2007: Ged2XML 1.10 released. Translates some more custom Gedcom-tags. Some bug-fixes.
- 7 October 2007: Ged2XML 1.9 released. Translates objects related to sources. Better control of person and event data that doesn't have any GenXML counterparts. Some bug-fixes.
- 27 March 2007: Cognatio 1.2.0 released. This is the most important upgrade so far with more than 60 improvements. Two new reports. Most existing reports have been improved. Hierarchical listing of sources and places. Global list of attachments. Several issues have been fixed.
- 23 March 2007: A GenXML 2.1 draft has been published.
- 23 March 2007: Ged2XML 1.8 released. Better control of internal/external objects.
- 18 January 2007: Cognatio 1.1.2 released. Bug-fix release.
